The safety of drones in the airspace is a key factor in their successful and trouble-free use. This question concerns not only the safety of the drone itself, but also the protection of people, properties and other air traffic. In this context, it is important to consider various aspects, including urban and non-urban operation, specific drone models and their weight categories.
The drones of SKYMOVE s.r.o. are equipped with parachutes from the company Drone Rescue System and Parazero. When using drones in sensitive environments, it’s good to have a system you can rely on.
Safety of drones in the airspace
- To achieve the safe operation of drones in the air in urban areas and beyond, it is important to follow safety protocols, standards and be familiar with the risk.
- Drones must be equipped with obstacle detection technology that ensures automatic collision avoidance and minimizes the risk of accidents.
- For urban areas, advanced navigation and distance measurement systems could be useful in the future for precise steering near buildings and other structures.
Known as DRS 300 from Drone Rescue System, the impact reduction system is an innovative approach to safe drone flying. This system uses advanced technologies to minimize impact and protect against unexpected situations. Its main component is a safety parachute, which would be activated autonomously, in case the drone tilts more than 60°, or loses stability, crashes into another object when descending 15m/s, rotation speed 350° per second, acceleration 3m/s /s or when a power failure occurs in the drone. This system helps to reduce the impact force when the drone starts to fall.
Company Drone Rescue System has developed a special system called DRS300, which is equipped with the latest technological improvements and we use it.
- Used in mapping, scanning and creation of spatial data
- Used when transporting objects
- Used when flying in a risky environment
- Used in inspection work
